Career Experience

Rich Micali began his pharmaceutical career as a Sales Representative for Mead Johnson Pharmaceuticals in Cleveland, Ohio, a subsidiary of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. From that moment his career was determined. He inherited a low performing territory and turned it into one of the most productive in the district, winning a couple of awards along the way. He was promoted to Sales Training and soon after in 1987 became a District Sales Manager where he led his team to top performance. By 1997 Rich Micali had progressed in the organization to Senior Director for Infectious Disease Marketing. Based on his ability to deliver results and develop people, he continued to take on increased responsibility as he became a Vice President of Sales. As Region Vice President Sales, U.S. Primary Care, he led his region to #1 in the nation. Most recently, he was Vice President Sales Oncology, U.S. Pharmaceuticals Division. Throughout his career, Rich Micali has been involved with several successful product launches. He established and executed a multi-customer channel antibiotic launch plan resulting in leading the nation in new prescription share and successfully launched a key oncology product.

Community Involvement
Many changes, many awards, and many friends later, Rich is as active outside work as inside. He's on the board of directors of Mercer Street Friends and an advisory board member of bWell International.
